Overview
SalahLog is a free prayer tracker made by Sazen. It has no ads. This policy explains what the SalahLog app and this website collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Using SalahLog as a guest
You can use SalahLog without an account. As a guest, your prayer records, streaks and settings are kept only on your phone. We do not receive them, and they are lost if you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Your account
If you sign up with email or sign in with Google, Firebase Authentication (by Google) handles the sign-in. We store your name, email address and the date the account was created, so you can sign in again on any phone.
If you add a profile photo, the photo stays on your phone. Only its location on your phone is saved with your profile.
Your prayer records
When you are signed in, the prayers you mark for each date, and your streaks, are saved in Cloud Firestore (by Google) under your account. This lets you restore your history on a new phone. A copy is also kept on your phone so the app works quickly.
Location
SalahLog uses your location to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction on your phone. Your phone’s location service turns the coordinates into a city name to show in the app. The last location and city name are saved on your phone. We do not store your location on our servers.
Notifications
Prayer reminders are scheduled on your phone. SalahLog also uses OneSignal to deliver notifications, and OneSignal receives a device identifier and notification token for this.
Feedback and ratings
If you send feedback from the in-app rating prompt, we save your message, your star rating, the time and, if you are signed in, your account ID, so we can read it and improve the app.
Settings on your phone
Your language, reminder times, notification sounds, haptic feedback and similar settings are saved only on your phone.
What we do not do
SalahLog shows no ads. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Deleting your data
Guest data is deleted when you uninstall the app. To delete your account and the prayer history saved with it, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, and we will delete them and confirm by email.
Children
SalahLog is meant for people aged 13 and over.
